Our VBS emphasis is on

Each day at Studio GO! Game Show kids will:
- participate in large-group game-show-fun
- experience God's Word
- create fun crafts
- meet real-life servants
- participate in service projects
- eat snacks and play challenging games

We are also inviting PARENTS to stay and participate in adult group activities!

We will have a "Mini-Walk for Hunger" for the VBS children to participate in as a final service activity and celebration on Friday, July 17 from 4pm-8pm. When you register at the church for VBS you will sign up and receive a sponsor envelope for the Mini-Walk. The monies collected will go directly to the Peace Lutheran Food Pantry which is experiencing a 100% increase in need over the past few months. It serves emergency food needs for families in the Waldorf area.
Afterward, there will be a celebration of all their hard work, with a moon bounce, hot dogs, drinks and other fun activities. This is made possible through matching funds being given by Thrivent Financial (a nonprofit organization).

Our Vacation Bible School program is for children ages 4 years to 5th grade. It is run mainly by congregation member volunteers.

We cannot offer transportation for our program.

The pictures are from last years VBS, "God's Big Backyard". We sewed quilts and blankets for Project Linus, and collected donations for 3 different community charities! We had a guest speaker from the Charles County Humane Society teach us how they serve, and how we can help.
