Welcome to the Laguna Beach United Methodist Church VBS Site!
Who: Children ages 4 years old through 5th grade
What: Vacation Bible School is a week long morning event for children. This year’s theme is Studio GO! Game Show!
Where: Laguna Beach United Methodist Church. We use the sanctuary, Fellowship Hall and the lawn.
When: Monday, August 10 – Friday, August 14 from 9 a.m. – 12 noon (*****NEW this year, we will be offering 2 days of extended hours for Lunch & FUN. Tuesday & Thursday you have the option of packing a lunch and staying for an extra hour of FUN for an additional $5******)
Why: It’s fun!! There will be crafts, games, activities, and singing.
Cost: The cost per child is $40 with a $5 discount for each additional child from the same immediate family before July 12. Registration after July12 is $45 per child with a $5 discount for each additional child from the same immediate family. Please let us know if you are planning on extended time for an additional $5. Limited scholarships are available; email kbtorkelson@earthlink.net for more information on scholarships.
To Register: There are several ways to register! Come by the church office during office hours to pick up a registration form, come to church service Sunday morning to pick up a registration form on the patio or download one from www.vacationbibleschool.com/lbumc
You need to complete the registration form & the medical waiver and return to LBUMC.
What will my children do during the time they are here?
They will sing songs, learn the daily Bible lesson, make crafts, eat yummy snacks, be active at the games station and enjoy our opening and closing studio!
How will kids learn the Bible?
Each day at Studio GO! Kids will meet someone from the Bible who decided to team up with God and GO for it! They will see how God works in the lives of everyone who trusts Him. Though it all, kids will discover that…with Jesus everyone wins!
Do I have to attend this church to register my children for VBS?
• No! Anyone is welcome!
