Kamalei (ka-ma-lay)
With a name that means “beloved child,” who better to show kids the ins and outs of Promise Island and the lifesaving love of God? Her experience and insight are matched only by her sense of humor and awe of God’s creation. Each day at Promise Island, Kamalei helps kids discover one of God’s promises using props from her wacky seaside stand. Then kids learn more about her—and themselves—as they watch her interact with her new vacationing friends, Hunter and Madi.

Hunter
Not an outdoorsy kind of kid, Hunter isn’t too thrilled about winding up on Promise Island. The humidity fogs up his video screens, the palm trees interfere with his wireless reception, and he can’t get a cell phone signal to save his life! And don’t even mention the fact that he’s stuck with his little sister all week! Still, in spite of these inconveniences, Promise Island is starting to grow on him, changing him in ways that he never saw coming.

Madi
An adventurer from the start, Madi (short for Madisyn) is determined to win over her older brother Hunter and convince him what an amazing place Promise Island really is! Her enthusiasm and inquisitive young mind make her a natural explorer . . . if she could just learn some boundaries! She can’t get enough of her new friend, Kamalei, and would stay on Promise Island forever if she could. (And if she doesn’t quit getting lost, she might just have to!)

Cooper
Cooper’s back and eager to show the little ones all the easy, breezy seaside fun on Promise Island! You’ll find Cooper in Tadpole Bay with the preschoolers, practicing his dog paddle and helping kids discover God’s lifesaving love!
