Each morning at 9:00 a.m., all the children will gather in the Sanctuary to start our BACKYARD BASH! Then the children will enjoy:
The BACKYARD BIBLE CLUB ~ where we’ll learn about people in the Bible who served their families, friends, neighbors, and communities.
Our BACKYARD FUN TIME– where we’ll play games!
The CLOTHESLINE CREATIONS ROOM – where we’ll create a different craft each day!
The BACKYARD MUSIC TIME – where we’ll learn songs praising God!
Of course, Kids get hungry learning and serving God so, we’ll have snacks at the BACKYARD PICNIC AREA!
At noon, it’s back to the Sanctuary to be picked up by mom or dad or guardian.
Here’s what we’ll learn about:
MONDAY: Serve Family ~ Miriam took care of her brother Moses. Exodus 2:1-10
TUESDAY: Serve Friends ~ Four men carried their friend to Jesus. Mark 2:1-2
WEDNESDAY: Serve Neighbors ~ A Good Samaritan man helped a neighbor who was hurt. Luke 10:25-37
THURSDAY: Serve Community ~ Zacchaeus met Jesus and decided to give to his community. Luke 19:1-10.
FRIDAY: Serve Jesus ~ Peter and John served Jesus by showing His love and power. Acts 3:1-19
And we’ll learn about a mission project –While there is no charge for VBS, all week long we will be asking the children to participate in various service projects to help raise money for the HEIFER ORGANZATION – a worldwide human relief organization. Last year we were able to donate over $3,000 to help poor people around the world – Heifer provides the tools in either livestock, seeds or equipment, and then lets people learn to help themselves!
Join us for one day or come every day! Last year we had such a great time! We’d like to thank all of our volunteers who dedicate so much of their time and talents to teach so many young people about loving and praising God! Register early!
